Ini Dia Apa Saja Sih Tanggungjawab Besar Yang Diemban Manager SDM
Tugas manajer pelatihan dan pengembangan sangat penting, terutama dalam tujuan mengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM). Di era globalisasi dengan tingkat persaingan ketat seperti sekarang ini, pelatihan dan pengembangan perlu dilakukan. Adapun yang dimaksud dengan pelatihan dan pengembangan SDM itu sendiri adalah upaya mengembangkan keterampilan, kemampuan, dan loyalitas kerja SDM sehingga lebih berkualitas. Kualitas itu pun nantinya akan dijadikan standar, dimana sebuah perusahaan bisa menolak calon karyawan bila tidak sesuai standar kualifikasi yang sudah ditentukan.
Dalam seleksi calon karyawan, sebuah perusahaan memang harus memiliki standar yang dijadikan patokan. Adapun tingkat pendidikan menjadi salah satu faktor pertimbangan. Namun selain itu, pihak perusahaan juga seyogyanya menyelenggarkan pelatihan bagi para karyawannya supaya mempunyai bekal lebih sehingga dapat menjalankan tugas sebagaimana mestinya. Pelatihan diberikan kepada karyawan supaya mempunyai kemampuan dan mental kuat, sehingga mampu bersaing dalam rangka membangun perusahaan.
Tugas Pokok Manajer Pelatihan
Demi tercapainya tujuan tersebut, perusahaan juga harus memiliki manajer pelatihan dan pengembangan. Sang manajer memiliki tugas penting dalam rangka mengembangkan sekaligus menggali potensi yang dimiliki masing-masing karyawan. Adapun untuk lebih jelasnya pokok-pokok tugas manajer pelatihan disajikan dalam tabel berikut:
Tugas Manajer Pelatihan Uraian Tugas
a. Mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pelatihan dan pengembangan SDM.
b. Membuat perencanaan pelaksanaan pelatihan.
c. Bekerjasama dengan tim.
d. Memilih jenis pelatihan.
e. Memilih instruktur atau pelatih.
f. Memastikan jenis pelatihan sesuai regulasi.
g. Melaksanakan pelatihan.
h. Memonitor keberlangsungan pelatihan.
i. Mambantu asisten manajer.
j. Mengevaluasi hasil pelatihan.
k. Menyempurnakan pelatihan SDM.
l. Manajer menganalisa pekerjaan dan berkonsultasi dengan pihak lain misal manajer HRD dan manajer bisnis. Hal tersebut perlu dilakukan agar manajer mendapat gambaran pelatihan seperti apa yang dibutuhkan, sehingga bermanfaat meningkatkan potensi karyawan dan akhirnya meningkatkan produktivitas kerja.
Dari hasil analisa, manajer menyusun rencana pelatihan sesuai kebutuhan. Perencanaan yang dibuat mencakup semua hal terkait jenis, waktu, anggaran, dan kemampuan finansial perusahaan untuk menyelenggarakan pelatihan.
a. Manajer bertugas menjalin kerjasama tim dalam pelaksanaan pelatihan.
b. Manajer bertugas memilih jenis pelatihan yang sesuai kebutuhan. Beberapa jenis pelatihan yang dapat dilakukan diantaranya workshop, konferensi, pelatihan magang, pelatihan dalam kelas, dan demonstrasi.
c. Manajer bertugas memilih pelatih yang bisa berasal dari mana saja. Baik dari dalam perusahaan seperti para senior atau staff ahli, maupun pelatih dari luar yang merupakan pihak ketiga.
d. Pelatihan yang diselenggarakan mesti memenuhi peraturan perusahaan. Adapun menjadi tugas manajer untuk memastikannya.
e. Manajer bertugas melaksanakan pelatihan SDM sesuai dengan perencanaan yang sudah dibuat.
f. Manajer bertugas mengawasi pelatihan selama program berlangsung. Manajer harus terus berkoordinasi dengan semua pihak yang bertanggungjawab penuh dalam pelatihan.
g. Selama program pelatihan mungkin muncul masalah. Manajer bertugas membantu para asisten memecahkan masalah yang ada.
h. Tugas manajer pelatihan yang tidak kalah penting yaitu melakukan evaluasi hasil pelatihan. Hasil evaluasi digunakan sebagai pertimbangan perencanaan pelatihan selanjutnya. Dari evaluasi ini bisa diambil kesimpulan apakah akan menggunakan model pendekatan sama atau butuh pembaruan.
Manajer pelatihan bertugas menyempurnakan pelatihan. Tentunya disesuaikan dengan tuntutan pekerjaan, lingkungan, dan sejumlah faktor lain.

Agar dapat melakukan tugas sebagaimana mestinya, seorang manajer membutuhkan skill sebagai berikut:
1. Skill melihat masa depan dan membuat perencanaan dini seperlu mengantisipasi perubahan yang sekiranya bisa terjadi.
2. Skill komunikasi yang mendukung manajer dapat berkomunikasi baik sehingga tujuan pelatihan dapat memuaskan semua pihak.
3. Skill dalam pengelolaan waktu sehingga pelatihan berjalan efektif-efisien.
4. Skill memotivasi dan negosiasi.
5. Skill mengorganisir pekerjaan, mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, hingga dokumentasi sehingga tugas manajer pelatihan dapat terlaksana.
